Payday Lenders Held Up in Florida

Even payday lenders fall on tough times, like this payday loan shop in Ocala, Florida which was robbed on Friday afternoon.  Apparently, two young men walked into the payday lending store and demanded money from the Manager of the branch, Frank Caliendo.  The robbers were armed which led the manager to give into the young men's demands of handing over the payday loan money.  There was a witness to the robbery who was in his car at the time of the robbery.  He believes he saw a young man with dreadlocks in tennis shoes, dark pants and a blue shirt fleeing from the payday loan center.  Police officers arrived at the scene of the crime but were unable to find either of the suspects. This is not the first time that payday loan stores have been robbed.  In St. Louis, Missouri, a young couple robbed a payday lending storeat gun point as well as a loan guns men in Chicago.  This, however, was the first time in twelve years that the payday lending store in Ocala, Florida was robbed according to the Manager.  The suspects are still at large.
